There's nothing quite like holding a quality brochure or magazine in your hands. Say all you want about a computer screen, but there's still no match for the look and feel of a finely printed piece from a printing press.
Offset printing is an art form that starts with a concept. The concept might be to showcase a product or an invitation to an event. Now you add a choice of limitless stocks and thousands of colors and your message becomes crystal clear. Offset printing produces results you can feel.
Features:
Process Color Printing
The standard method of offset printing used to reproduce everything from photographs to charts. Our advanced 4-color press produces stunning results while the on-board plate burning process allows for fast turnaround of even the most complex print jobs.
High Quality Screening
Generally, printers cannot vary the flow of ink to the paper. Instead, a process using a printed pattern known as "screening" is used to lighten or darken areas as needed by varying the pattern's density. This pattern can be made up of dots or lines. The frequency (or number per inch) determines the quality of the image. Higher frequency (a more dense pattern) means more consistent tonal quality in the image -- but also requires higher resolution. Our press' native 2540 DPI resolution allows us to use a 200 LPI screen, meaning you'll get stunning quality on every print.
Run Lengths to Fit Your Needs
You wouldn't run your print jobs on your home printer, but even printing them at the office can be costly (and tedious) once quantites get into the thousands. Your only other choice is to go to press. On a traditional offset press, in order to be cost effective you would need to run thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of impressions. With our advanced PressTek® workflow and automated plate creation, we can provide you with quantites from a mere 250 up to 100,000+.
High Resolution
Most office laser printers and copiers print images at 300 to 1200 dots/pixels per inch depending on quality settings. Our press outputs everything at a razor sharp 2540 DPI. This means your text and images will have crisp, clear edges even under close inspection.
Pantone® & Metallic Inks
In addition to printing standard 4-color CMYK documents, we can also run custom inks (up to four) for color matching and special effects, such as metallics. Our inks are matched to the official Pantone® color matching system, so whichever you choose, you can rest assured that the final output will match your designer's intent exactly.
BestColor™ / Epson® UltraChrome™ Proofing System
Before an order is submitted to the press, our pre-press department can provide you with a color-matched proof so you can see how your project will look when it's printed. Any corrections can then be made without the need to create plates, saving you time and money.
