Reprographic printing, more commonly known as blueprinting, is primarily for the architectural, engineering, general contractor and development community, though it has other uses. It's no longer called blueprinting because the previously used ammonia gas process is not safe to the environment. Today, we use large-format digital laser printers. It's fast, clean and high-quality. We can print preliminary drawings, bid sets, construction sets and presentation drawings including full-color renderings.
Features:
Multiple Media Types
20# or 24# bond is the most common stock used today. We also offer specialty stocks including tinted bond (blue, pink or yellow), eraseable vellum and mylar. We can print all common sizes including 18"x24", 24"x36", 30"x42" and 36"x48" as well as any custom sizes up to 42" wide.
Scale Changes
Enlargement or reduction of your plans or artwork can be made in percentages or as scale changes, making exact measurements much simpler. We can also offer plotting services from supported file formats, allowing for last-minute changes to your plans. Give us a call or e-mail for details.
Scanning & Archiving
If you have hardcopy originals, we can scan and print from them at up to 600dpi in full color or black & white. CD/DVD burning and on-site archiving is also available, making it simple to print more in the future without loss of quality from printing from a copy or loss of productivity by having to search for originals.
Extensive File Support
We can print from a variety of file formats. Most often we receive PDF files, but we can open and print from just about any file, including many plotting and reprographic industry formats. If your feel your file is uncommon, give us a call and we can arrange to test it on our equipment and find any workarounds if neccessary to get it printed.
